The biggest problem with Tucker’s interview with Putin is that much of the content is at a level that is beyond the grasp of many of those who have no previous knowledge of the history of the region. Try to imagine Biden trying to answer the same type of questions in a coherent manner. He couldn’t do it.
This is an interview that will be studied for clues about Putin’s thought process for decades to come. Tucker did a good job of probing which should be useful for those who truly desire to put an end to this huge foreign policy debacle.
Back when we had a free press it was all about finding out about opposing ideas.
I was happy to watch the entire interview and draw my own set of conclusions.
Most importantly, I was a world leader in full control of his faculties and zero hint of any of the so-called ailments that have been reported about Putin. That, or the Russkis have gotten a really good body double.
Xiden on the other hand, scare the crap out of me every time he shows up to drool on TeeVee.
Ukraine was, at the most, a weak member with almost no use in "our plan to invade Russia", which has always been a fevered fabrication of the paranoid Russian minds.
So, Putin - in keeping with the Russian tradition of brutality and genocide with their Ukrainian neighbors, launched wave after wave of missiles, ballistic rockets, aircraft bombs, artillery and thermobaric weapons against apartment buildings, shopping centers, schools and hospitals to win Ukrainian hearts and minds.
So, Tucker, 'ol buddy - when you had Putie there in front of you, why didn't you remind Vlad of the Homoldor, the mass starvation of 4 million Ukrainians while they "owned" them or the Russian doctrine of relentless attacks against civilians? Maybe you'd end up "falling from the window of your hotel"?
I think that is a very good article and the embedded links in the original are worth following also. Here’s a quote from a linked article:
“The New York Times has published op-eds written by Putin, including one from Sept. 11, 2013 titled, “A Plea For Caution From Russia.”
So op-eds by Putin in the NYT are ok.
There are so many other examples where it is ok for the MSM to interview tyrants, and not just Zelensky. But it’s wrong for Carlson? The left are full of self-serving double-standards. They are hypocrites! A den of vipers.
Tucker has been giving Putin bj’s since the invasion began. He is like an uncle who gives great wisdom and you are incorporating it in your worldview.
Suddenly he pulls up his shirt and wants to show you the spots where the aliens probed him when he was abducted.
I haven’t seen the Tucker-Putin interview so I’ll withhold any opinion about it.
However, one of Tucker’s top “experts” on Russia was Prof. Stephen F.? Cohen of Princeton University, who, in my opinion, was a Soviet/Russian disinformation operative for decades, based on his defense of not only Putin’s actions, but also of Soviet/Russian actions over the decades.
His wife is hardcore leftist Katrina van den Heuven, the editor of The Nation, a nearly century long propaganda voice for communism, especially that of the Soviet Union/Russia.
Among my friends who were pioneering scholars/specialists on Soviet disinformation techniques and operations, were Herbert Romerstein, J. Michael Waller, Roy Godson and Herb Philbrick.
What they found through decades of research into Soviet “disinformation” became the primers for everything that followed.
This is one of Tucker’s unofficial Soviet/Russia mentors.
Just keep this in mind when dealing with Carson on certain issues.
Katrina’s last name may might be spelled Heuvel.
The only missing part of this soliloquy to the aggrieved Putin and our formerly respected voice, Tucker, is that Russia expressed it’s dismay with the prospect of Ukraine’s’ possible membership in NATO is that he went full-on war criminal.

True dat.
There have been many other US media network people prior doing an interview with Putin.
The corrupt media just does not like that Tucker Carlson can get 194 million views and they cannot get anywhere combined his views on any subject.
The interview:

You sound like a cross between Mitt Romney and Joe Biden.
