Best cheese of all. Lot’s of garbage cheese out there that everyone insists is so awesome. You can tell by how it sucks compared to cheddar.

Today is Shrove Tuesday. Pancakes are called for.
RED LOBSTER CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS
Easy to make. So buttery, flaky, and irresistibly good.
ING---- 2 cups flour 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 2 teaspoons garlic powder ½ teaspoon kosher salt ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional 1 cup buttermilk ½ cup unsalted butter, melted 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
TOPPING 3 tbl unsalted butter, melted 1 tbl chp fresh parsley leaves ½ tsp gar/powder
INSTRUCTIONS---Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, salt and cayenne. In a large glass measure, whisk buttermilk and butter. Pour mixture over dry ing and stir using a rubber spatula just until moist. Gently fold in cheese.
On lightly floured surface, knead dough 3-4 times to come together. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a 1 1/4-inch thick rectangle. Cut 10-12 rounds w/ biscuit or cookie cutter. Bake on parchmented b/sheet 450 deg 10-12 min til golden.
TOPPING Whisk butter, parsley and gar/pwder. Brush tops of biscuits. Serve immediately.
A little bit of fermented curd would do the trick.
