Let’s look at the substance of her remarks.
“...therefore I am, of course, against sending a single dime to Israel.”
From the Congressional Research Service report, updated November 16, 2020:
“As of October 2020, the Trump Administration was considering an acceleration of the timetable for delivering some of the remaining $26.4 billion in Foreign Military Financing (FMF) grants to Israel (out of a total of $33 billion) pledged in the 2016 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to Israel, subject to the approval of Congress. The United States also may approve additional sales of the F-35 to Israel and accelerate the delivery of KC-46A refueling and transport aircraft to Israel.”
Pick a side.
I support Israel defending itself against enemies like Iran but the US has all those military bases across Syria and Iraq blocking Israel from fighting Iran just like we prevented Israel from attacking Iraq when the SCUDS were fired in 1991 and 2003.
Congressman Thomas Massie, who was also subjected to a smear attack lately accusing him of supporting Biden, opposes all foreign aid even to Israel on grounds of kickbacks to defense contractors or ‘corruption’.
I’m not here to be forced into anything I support Israel but I don’t like Big Business corruption and control of the political system.
I’m fed up with it.
So let us indeed look at the substance of her remarks:
My political philosophy has always been that we should not be using taxpayer dollars to support foreigners. I am therefore against the welfare programs for illegal immigrants. I’m against illegal immigration as a whole as it burdens taxpayers. I was against sending money to Afghanistan and Ukraine and therefore I am, of course, against sending a single dime to Israel.
Emphasis mine. She has a valid point. Her side appears to be "America First".
