It's God's responsibility to get US. We don't need to get Him.
Curious that those who proclaim “He gets us” are the ones who don’t get him........
I'm tired of hearing about the "hurting world" that needs Jesus. Most sinners are NOT hurting, and won't feel any hurt until after death. Actually, if you are following Christ closely, YOU will hurt much more than the world. It hurts to fight against the strong current.
Reach out and touch faith
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers, someone who cares.
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers, someone who's there
Feeling unknown and you're all alone
Flesh and bone by the telephone.
Lift up the receiver, I'll make you a believer
Take second best, put me to the test
Things on your chest you need to confess
I will deliver, you know I'm a forgiver,
Reach out and touch faith.
I don’t think these commercials are About leaving the lost. They are meant to shame Bible believing Christians into changing their views on social issues.
Reaching the lost. Geez, can’t type anymore…
From what I can see, Dr. Brown’s article fails to object to anything specific being said in this ad. He seems to mix his fears about what is not said with what is said. I think Dr. Brown has a problem.
The fact is Jesus is BOTH God and man and GRACE and TRUTH came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17).
Being Jewish, he may have legalistic issues, a general charaticstic of the Jews.
Sorry but I think Dr. Brown has a bad case of traditional-church & Old Covenant of the Law false doctrine about being under the law.
The truth is, the cross changed EVEYTHING. The Bible says we are NOT under the law but under grace (Rom.6:14).
Jesus gets me!? And here I thought it was all about my effort to get Him.
The idiots putting these out certainly don’t “Get Him”.
A more honest ad would say “Satan, he’s out to get us or does his best to.”
Satan : He Gets Us
