So, calling 'media availability' events with no subject, must be how desanctus is trying to get as much face time as he can.

desanctimonious's campaign team of pushaw, et al must be the ones that has been advising him that this would be a great idea to just get in news....

and he will surely become likeable and be elected president...

Maybe he will sign autographs.

He's the governor of a state. High ranking office holders like that regularly hold press events.

Your obsession with this man is increasingly unhealthy, and these comments are beyond absurd.

Our governor only holds pressers in times of emergency or almost never.

Maybe he is announcing that he found out Floridians are being held in the gulag finally?

B is just ticked because he is no longer getting the Trump memos.

You do know that desanctus hired and moved his successful presidential campaign team, to advise him on how to govern and run florida as successfully as they did his presidential win, right?

When you throw a tantrum because the governor of Florida called a media availability event on a Friday...

Him, socal, repub98 and a dozen or so of the others here got what they wanted : Desantis is out.

AND our almost certain smashing victory over Biden is gone for 2024.

But now we will have Trump who was beaten before against the same opponent , our odds are razor thin and I fully expect another loss.

Dam I hope Trump wins but Michael Savage says he likely won’t. Michael Savage gets almost ZERO traction around here but his record as a political prognosticator is unmatched with any other talk show host:

1. he said “Obama would cut Romney to Ribbons” before the election in 2016
1/1
2. He was an early supporter of Trump and endorsed him over Hillary when cons like Hannity were saying he had no chance.
2/2
2. He said Trump would probably lose against Biden in 2020
3/3
3. He said the red wave would not happen in the midterms. It was a red ripple and guys like Steve Bannon were predicting a red TIDAL WAVE the night before (I know I watched the show) in 2022
4/4
4. He is saying due to women and the moderate vote Trump will likely get beaten again, although he has given himself wiggle room to change his mind as the campaign goes on.
Hopefully a 4/5????

Probably a 5/5 but Desantis is short and has some weird mannerisms so the DDS crowd hates him around here.

I was wondering how a Florida governor would go about solving the home-owners insurance problem. Florida has a hurricane problem that is sort of insolvable.
Crime? He's passed a free concealed carry law for Florida citizens and fired a let-em-go DA.
He's done a pretty good job of limiting the nonsense in the public school.
Language? he's stuck with a diverse population.
I'm sure he would like to hear any reasonable suggestion to solve these issues.

A leader brings together solutions and people to fix needs/problems.

If he’s done all he is capable of doing, he needs to move on and let a better qualified leader take over.

His Pensacola event was to ask law enforcement about a traffic bill the Senate passed that he hasn’t signed yet. Sounds like he’s doing what you’re suggesting. This is what he does and has been doing all along about education and other issues as well.

No, it was me that advised him to do it. He called me the other day and asked what he could do to annoy you and I said “Governor, a media availibility day will have him so distraught that he’ll need an extra 6 pack of Bud Light and a night of binge watching Disney+ to cope.”
