“If these cases stretch beyond the election, the prosecutors will drop them.”

When Trump wins in November, they will be made to drop them. Most abruptly I imagine.

The majority of the electorate now understands that the institutions of government are no longer, if ever they were, the free, fair, and impartial arbiters of fact; where all who were made to endure them could expect, at minimum, a level playing field that consisted of honor and decency.

We now see that the courts and the attorneys who both prosecute and defend within them, use our systems as a Charnel house to torment, bankrupt and humiliate any who dare to stand up to our government and its endless vectors of power-grabbing, harassment and the unending pick-pocketing of the citizenry.

I’m fine with our police overall, but am very much open to re-imagining our justice system.

They know when (fingers crossed and in prayer) Trump wins in November all cases disappear.

I’m worried about their Plan “B” or “C” that I’m sure they have in place should their lawfare cases continue to crumble.

Meanwhile, In other legal news, JUST IN: The D.C. Circuit has ruled that some Jan. 6 defendants had their sentences improperly lengthened by district judges’ decisions to label their crimes “interference with the administration of justice.”

Link to the court’s order here:

There hasn’t been an article written up on the ruling yet since the opinion has just been filed. I’m sure Julie Kelly will address the ruling once she has had an opportunity to dissect it.
