We have limited sun. Hubby loves our big tall trees. I have a couple that would give us more sun if they were gone. Garden gets great southern exposure. I would choose more morning and midday sun over evening. Best advice is depending on where your garden is, use this year to track the sun from spring to fall and identify what really needs cutting. I’ve done that for years but hubby just won’t cut down a couple.

” track the sun from spring to fall”

yes done ...
my plot will lay east to west with a pretty good southern exposure ...
I would hate to cut anything to the south ..

“more morning and midday sun”

hmmm ... That could give me cooler working hrs ...

does more morning or evening sun make much difference as far as budding/fruiting/yield ?
I will be doing the deed .... cranking the saw in the next couple of days ....
I am really ready to get some dirt turned.
The peach tree is blooming ... it’s spring here.
Flowers exploding.
