MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — New information has been released in connection to the arrest of a woman who officials say tried to kidnap a child at a Georgia state park.
Last week, Kara Christopher was arrested and charged with the attempted kidnapping of a child inside High Falls State Park.
In an incident report obtained by Channel 2 Action News, on Feb. 19 at 5 p.m., deputies recieved reports of the attempted abduction inside the park.
When deputies arrived, they were met by a mother and her friend who said they were on a hike with her young daughter when a strange woman, later identified as Christopher, ran up, grabbed the child and tried to run away.
The report said the two women fought Christopher and got the child back. Christopher was then seen getting into a grey Honda CRV and driving away.

WTH??
Who DOES that?
The clowns have taken over.
Was the perp assisted by a blind kid playing a banjo?
Don't tell me, let me guess: Tranny-Pedo-Child-Sex-Traffic-Scumball.
Christopher is the last name. Her first name is Kara. Photo at the link confirms she’s a she.
Weighs very little and takes up no room.
Just think how much it's going to get with the millions coming in from South America..
Uh-huh. What is the real sex of the perp--looks kinda tranny-pervy.
And what is the sex of the "friend"? That would give a little context to the situation, wouldn't it? It's a different level of crazy to have the nerve to grab a child from a couple that includes an actual man.
On the victim side, it's a different, fringy kind of life you're leading if you're a mother and wander into parks with a young kid with a guy who's not your hubby, possibly 'cuz you don't have a hubby. And by the way, are you the real mother?
Is it possible some core details have been air-brushed away, either because the publication is sketchy, or the victims are sketchy in a politically protected way? Or because the police reports in the jurisdiction are routinely edited to protect politically favored irresponsibility--with the effect that readers can't really discern what's going on around us?
“We tend to think of State Parks as being safe”
You’re thinking of a different era. In today’s DNC America there is no such thing.
Carry concealed. Of prime importance, know how to use the weapon. It’s better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
.380 is the perfect caliber to bring along on a foray into the wilderness. It is lightweight, has minimal recoil, and if you are attacked by a bear you can use it to shoot your companion in the foot.
We’re they driving a Subaru?
“There is no such place.”
THIS is what people need to understand.
A bad person can be anywhere, at anytime. And here’s the thing, they don’t wear signs saying: I’m a bad person.
One must always be on guard.
Victim blame much?
You don’t have to be married to take a walk in a State Park with your child. You sound like somebody from Iran or something.
Indeed.
Shame on you. Most parks prohibit assault weapons. LOL

Agreed. We’ve been in numerous state parks and always carry. Once, after the Karens at the next campsite saw my husband’s side-arm and called the ranger, he was asked to store it in the RV. His over-shirt had pulled up while building the campfire and one of them spotted the gun. Hubby double-checked to make sure he gun was covered at all times until they left. Thankfully, they left the next day. There is no way we would travel without being armed.
