When my kids were little, many years ago, I used to make breakfast for them. Sometime it was oatmeal.
I only told them recently I did not remove the bugs.
Sift oatmeal around in a colander and the weevils will fall out. Then freeze like we should have in the first place.
Rinse raw rice in cool water and the bugs will float to the top.
