We live immersed in a veritable bath of bacteria and microscoptic insect life. Our gut is inhabited by bacteria without which we could not process food. Oh, and another news flash: Proper cooking eliminates most of the hazards.

That being said, I ain't touching tilapia or anything from a Chinese food operation. I may be crazy, but endeavor to avoid stupid (and persevere).

I grow my own garlic to avoid having to buy what is usually imported from China.

Garlic is easy to grow and relatively maintenance and pest free.
