Ukraine gets 80 000 Rockets!
It was introduced in the early 1970s as an upgraded version of the standard U.S. 2.75-inch air-to-ground rockets.
An estimated 8,000 rockets have functioning warheads while the remainder could be used for parts or modification.
IOWs Canaduh is looking for a way to dump some old garbage saving the expense of decommissioning it.

And, more important, I have a store of knowledge and experience that I am certain you can’t match. So the smart thing to do, in ypur case, is to listen with humility and appreciation. It is a sort of IQ test, in fact.

My opinion, again, for the benefit of other readers -
As usual, this Ukraine MOD report is a mixed bag.
The Russian casualty count/estimate cant be trusted, for the same reason that US Vietnam body counts were substantially off, and were savagely criticized even by the best of later historians like Lewis Sorley.
The vehicle and equipment counts are, in large part these days, backed by drone video. Not all of it by any means. The correct figure is probably somewhere between Oryx and the MOD. Oryx themselves says that not all losses are going to be filmed, so their figure should be taken as a minimum, a baseline.
In some cases the Uke MOD is very accurate, especially in re planes and ships. They dont seem to overclaim.

Agree with you. I think they are anticipating. However, I’m sure they will not go to waste.
Very much as the US had been giving it some of the 155mm, GMLRS and ATACMS cluster munitions. That all should have been transferred with a 0 valuation.
As I have often noted, facts are facts.
If you can’t face them, then that is your problem.
They are in use. Both the Ukes and the Russians have been using these things at low altitude on helos and SU25’s in a lob attack mode, mainly as harassment fire.
Still no source given for the numbers.

As I said before, we’d be lost without you educating us about EVERYTHING.
Those sound at least a little bit better than one armed rocket with nine spare rockets for parts. How many chances do you get to fix a rocket that doesn’t work? And one would hope that all the warheads were functional since the spares are missing that item.
