Damaged his reputation with who? Not me. I think U.S. journalism is ridiculous P.T. Barnum level pablum as it's done. I can't stand Fox news, MSNBC, CNN etc etc just stupid. The news services are a business to sell a product. They have figured out the best way to sell product is through MBA level market segmentation. Find your target market and exploit it. Rush (who I love) was a master of this craft. He had me riled up every day from 1 p.m. to 3 pm. Until I figured out what he was doing. Rush was very smart and he died a rich man. Rush contributed to “conservatism” to be sure but he was a master marketer at heart. I will never again allow myself to be manipulated by showmen. (Man I am gonna get killed over this idea). But Rupert Murdoc is also a master of market segmentation. MSNBC, CNN, all learned from Murdoc and Rush. “Journalism” whatever the hell that is has reverted to “remember the Main”. We went to war with Iraq twice and destroyed the Shia Shiite balance of power.
