That’s another thing that’s confusing about this. Where exactly was she let out? One story indicates that it was a residential street.
Looking at some other local stories, it appears she was let out either on or around Telegraph Rd and then somehow made her way onto 95-495 from there. Lots of exit ramps at that interchange so if you were on foot at night (and drunk) and tried to use one of the ramps as a shortcut, you could quickly find yourself on the wrong road.
