Here’s another report. This story has a lot of holes in it:
“Vanessa’s husband and the third friend were not on the interstate when police arrived...”
So police have confirmed that the victim was separated from her husband and “friend”.
Police also confirm she was not dropped off on the interstate (as family claims). The Uber app screenshot likely shows where the driver decided he had enough and pressed “end ride”, not where the group exited the car.
So far, no comments from her husband or friend. They could clear a lot of this up, assuming they remember what happened. I wonder if this friend was a female... Either way, it appears they abandoned her, or were somehow separated after being dropped off. 3 hours later, she was killed.
