To: Red Badger

OK, somebody explain to me the difference between blueberries and huckleberries.

My grandmother always called what I now understand to be Blueberry Pie a ‘Huckleberry’ pie. I don’t know where she ever ate a huckleberry, spending all of her life in the Midatlantic; but maybe she learned it from her husband, who had been all over the country...???

Huckleberries are small and gritty with seeds. They are similar colored but taste very different..........
