Gov. DeSantis confirms rescue flights to Haiti for ‘Christian missionary groups’

Gov. Ron DeSantis is giving more details into an operation apparently underway to bring Americans back from Haiti.

Operational details, meanwhile, such as cost and vendors getting the contracts, are still not to be divulged to the public. These can add up: the Israel flights cost $19 million, as the Tallahassee Democrat reported.

The Governor made the comments Friday night on Fox News to Sean Hannity.

Since desantis claims the evacuation flights from Israel were for ‘Florida residents’ and less than half of the 700 people ended up to be from Florida....

I wonder who desantis will facilitate evacuating from hait, this time.

I soured on Ron DeSantis but regardless of his motivations, I applaud him for doing this. If something good is being done, I can live with politicians promoting themselves inappropriately. I don’t like such behavior but it is a small cost for a greater good.
