Yeah. It’s what the Russians do.
They’re tough on crime. I’m not saying we need to go this far . . . but the “catch and release” system we have has some serious flaws.
My surprised face with roosky torture.... 😵💫
Russia does not abide by the Geneva Convention or little things like human rights in these kinds of situations. (And in many others.)
And as long as they got the right perpetrators, I frankly don't care. Not being a fanboy of Russia here, just a personal observation about this particular situation.
Problem with torture though is the torturee with say anything, make up anything, to make it stop. So the intel you get is often bad.
What would you have done if you were interrogating a perpetrator of 9/11 on 9/12 had one survived? I assume you would have called a cadre of ACLU lawyers to ensure the mass murdering vermin’s rights weren’t violated. At least your delicate sensibilities weren’t offended at Gitmo. Had Mossad gotten their hands on one of the scum they had on film murdering fifty innocent Israeli concert attendees, I’m sure they would have used kid gloves during interrogation.
It’s what Americans did in Iraq. Documented with photos.
Yeah. It’s what the Russians do.
I bet anyone else entertaining the thought of commiting such attrocities may reconsider it. I am suprise how quickly they got hold of the suspects.
I'm not the least bit surprised a Zeeper would condemn this, though.
