Contract payment. That’s why. I’m sure there are 100s of million to do this or they have a new coating that makes them super invisible. My guess is a big payout on a contract clause that’s 20 years old.

I think not. Just the effort to get something certified for pod wing carry is a big deal. At the time I had been involved in one effort, there were only two places where you could go to get that certification and the whole process was VERY expensive.
