Earlier this week, X was ordered by the Australian E-Safety Commissioner, subject to an approximately $800,000 AUD fine, to remove a user's post. The post had criticized an individual appointed by the World Health Organization to serve as an expert on transgender issues.
X is withholding the post in Australia in compliance with the order but intends to file a legal challenge to the order to protect its user's right to free speech.

Once again, Elon isn’t perfect, but I’m glad we have someone willing to fight back against this crap.
Just do like Gab.com did. And tell them to pound sand. If the Aussie gov’t doesn’t want people to see it they can block x.com from the internet over there. Which is nearly impossible with a simple VPN to get around it.

Why does WHO care if some poster on X criticizes a ‘transgender expert?’? Is the person also a MAP (pedophile)?
Why punish Australians who only want to see the post?
