In Norse mythology, Asgard, the land of the gods, was reached by crossing a rainbow bridge, which is guarded by the god Heimdall. Will the painting over of the New Zealand bridge be considered a hate crime by followers of Asatru (the oldtime Viking religion)?
Since the rainbow was a promise from God to Noah, perhaps this can be considered a hate crime against Christians. I wonder how that would be pursued.
