I noticed this is Starbucks new model in California - drive-thru only - or a walk up window - no inside area at all, no chairs or tables outside either.
I think this is to keep homeless from taking over their seating areas, bathrooms, etc., and cutting staff as well.
It is also to keep the criminal element from being able to assemble indoors. “Yes, Boo Boo, it’s them!” What I’m waiting for is the large blue cities telling the fast food restaurants that *all* of their locations within the city much have dine-in facilities or they can’t operate there at all. Maybe all the way to the state level in solidly blue states.
