Pittsburgh police have recently changed their policy. They will not send officers to many crime scenes unless the criminal is still there. If he’s not, they’ll just take a report over the phone.
Soon Pittsburgh crime victims will realize that it’s not worth reporting a crime. Presto! Crime goes down in Pittsburgh.
Maybe the PPD should change to policy to only respond if the perp is still alive?
