I'm almost 4 hours from Northern Vermont (where they'll have totality) so the other day I tried to book a hotel for the night...everything's booked solid. I also contacted a place in southern Quebec...not far from the border...and they're promoting special viewing packages.

It looks like anywhere in the US and Canada that there will be totality things are gonna be wild on Monday...and maybe even tomorrow.

I think it is just a big money making thing or maybe to steer attention away from other things.

...so what is the BIG difference between THIS eclipse and the one seven years ago? In 2017, we drove an hour or so into the western North Carolina mountains, dealt with a little traffic, got screwed out of $10 to park in someone’s pasture, and when it was over, we drove home. Get a grip, America!
