And they charge you a yearly fee to even hold this “conditional” title to your property. But to be fair, this is a time honored local fascist tradition rather than national. As you know paying rent for acreage to the local lords in the form of taxes is rooted in British district territorial hierarchy.

It is a practice our founders tried to sever but was revived by the local states and counties under the disguise of bettering our local condition. Except it is not fairly redistributed as it is supposed to be, for most rural folks it is taxation without representation. This is where the fascist reality comes in.
