The article does not appear to state which Y-DNA haplogroup is most common among the Blackfoot Indians, but for most indigenous groups in the Americas it is Q, which is found in much lower percentages in Asia and Europe.
I'm in a different haplogroup, but a couple of families I am descended from belong to the Q haplogroup (in Europe). I wonder how it got to their part of Europe.

"I am descended from belong to the Q haplogroup (in Europe). I wonder how it got to their part of Europe." This isn't official standard modals though it's correct.
Haplogroup R is a Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup, a subgroup of haplogroup P, associated with the M207 mutation. It is believed to have occurred somewhere in Northwest Asia between 30,000 and 35,000 years ago. However, most of the rare forms of Haplogroup R chromosomes, as well as most cases of the closely related Haplogroup Q, are found among populations of Central Asia, South Asia, Australia, Siberia, Native Americans, Egypt and Cameroon.

Akkadian and hittites where R1b. Add mixture became Haplogroup G-M201 and Q1a Huns. I've also traced this in other ways.
