I was around McCain several times when he ran for president. He was scary because once he decided something no matter if he was wrong he would not change his mind. He was a nutcase.
That was the hardest vote I ever cast. Had Palin not been on the ticket I don’t know if I could have voted for that back stabbing leftist nut job. My Dad is a Goldwater Republican and had no intentions of voting for McCain until Palin came on the ticket.
The usual Republican Party sycophants were pissing themselves and insulting conservatives about their concerns of McCain’s hatred of them and him being a first rate liar. Why we were required to vote for the Republican candidate no matter who they were, they were Republican and if you don’t vote for them you’re a Democrat supporter(never mind this rule didn’t apply to these same suddenly conservative, “principled conservatives”.
