Iran hasn’t sought escalation every single day since 10/6/23.
The day the world loves the US is the second to last of earth’s existence.
But hey at least with the bump in oil prices, people with conviction believe wider escalation is coming. Unlike the folks without conviction citing Israeli escalation in lieu Iranian escalation every day for seven consecutive months.
Iran does not want a war. They know, as well as you and I know, that war with Israel will mean war with America. War with America means the Straight of Hormuz gets closed (were you driving in 1973). War with America means the Iranians sink one or more U.S. carriers. God only knows where we go from there.

But, there are a minority of Republican congressmen right now successfully blocking any funding for arms-deliveries to Israel - as we speak!
That is a big miscalculation, because it’s directly helping Hamas
Thus, a few Republicans are getting in the way of Israel. It’s a shame.
Agree, Iran is content to use proxies.

I wish you were right.
The problem is that Israel is surrounded by hundreds of millions of Islamists, and beyond Hamas... Hezbollah could be activated at any time. Hezbollah have tens of thousands of terror-fighters ready and heavily armed. If they go all in with Iran, Israel will need way more US weaponry. We need to arm them now, before Israel attacks the terrorists in Rafah. All hell will break loose when that happens.
What “Israel’s war?”
Funding is a smokescreen. We are selling weapons to them.
