The left long ago decided that unborn have no right to life, and though that is wrong, due to RvW, that mindset has proliferated through our society for several generations.
You do not change such a “thing” overnight and you must move incrementally.
We finally got over the RvW hump, and it took a very long time. Eradicating the “right” for an abortion will take just as long at the state level to correct, and it will not happen overnight in most areas.
