I had baby octopuses at a KPot Korean Hot Pot restaurant.

"Hot Pot" is a boiling pot of soup that you drop various types of food in that cook quickly. I had a miso soup base that time but it could be any thin soup.

Bring a pot of soup to slow boil. Drop them in and wait a few minutes. Then eat.

Could not be easier!

Interesting.
So which Korea were you in, North or South?

I’ve heard that dogs and cats sometimes wind up in those hot pots—maybe its just in the North. They can afford regular food in the South.

But for a gourmet like yourself, with a taste for the exotic, I wouldn’t think a trip over the border would be too much trouble.
