Israel is basically our battlefield laboratory. The 1973 war was basically won by US Vietnam veteran pilots. Too bad these pilots couldn't win in Vietnam.

The fog of war...
Macnamara deserved stringing up and disembowelment.
One instance being that fighter pilots were ordered not to attack Sam sites because Soviet technicians were present operating those sam sites and he did not want them killed in order to avoid Soviet ire being raised...

We did. We just left before it was official.
