Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel is throwing his financial muscle behind an “Olympics on steroids” — whose organizer boasts that athletes will dope “out in the open and honestly.”
Thiel, who made his fortune as an early investor in tech startups like PayPal and Facebook, is backing the Enhanced Games, which will actively encourage athletes to use performance-enhancing drugs.
The venture — aimed at aiding research into nutritional supplements and biohacks that push the boundaries of human performance — is the brainchild of Dr. Aron D’Souza, a lawyer by training who famously conceived Thiel’s lawsuit against Gawker Media.
He plans to provide more details on April 17 and promote the controversial concept in Paris during the Summer Olympics, which begin in July.
Thiel is among several high-profile venture capitalists who have backed the project, including billionaire Christian Angermayer of Apeiron Investment Group and Balaji Srinivasan, the former chief technology officer of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase

They have precedent though,
May as well be honest about it.
Anybody who has followed bodybuilding knows just how unhealthy PED’s are, especially on the women.

I was surprised to see a lot of body builders from the 70’s and 80’s are not only still alive but doing well.
I was curio9us recently and just started searching random names and was shocked by the results.
Bodybuilders in the 1970’s were mostly healthy. They made use of doctors to administers their steroids to strike that right balance between muscle gain without being detrimental to their health. Up until about 1978, this is how they did things.
However, once HGH was entered, that’s when you started seeing bodybuilders start to drop off prematurely. The real killer was in the mid-to-late 80’s, when insulin was introduced. What insulin does in bodybuilding is that it opens cell walls up and the cells can soak up all the blood sugar it can.
That’s when you started reading about bodybuilders dying in their thirties and fourties.
btt
Totally watching this!!!
LOL first thing I thought of.
Theil is a homosexual. Is this a backdoor attempt to get transoids into women’s Olympic sports by legalizing hormones?
I knew it wouldn’t be long before this clip turned up. First thing I thought of!
Thanks for the explanation.
I appreciate it.
I just remembered the endless warnings of the perils of steroids. It was shocking to see the guys seemingly not just healthy but most still in great shape.
After reading your explanation, I am recalling younger guys dying long after any interest of mine in bodybuilding.
