Your memories sound wonderful. ;-) My grandfather used to tell me stories about fights that happened around the turn of the century. We wasn't alive then, but he knew all about everything that happened in those fights. I especially remember him telling me about the Corbett-Fitzsimmons fight (I think it was around 1898). That was when boxing was what it should be. Today's "sport" is a farce. A business. And a crooked one. Anyone who would pay to watch tonight's fight is not watching a sport. They are watching a staged spectacle.

I hope it is Tyson. I blew 25 bucks on the horse race this afternoon and I would like to get it back with Lewis tonight. And believe me it might not sound like much but I treat nickles like manhole covers.
