I'm thinking Danielle was alive sometime after after the first week of February. The bug and corpse evidence seem to make that almost certain. If so the "blood spot" on the jacket is moot -- Westerfield took the jacket to the cleaners before Danielle was dead.

Given the temper and ferocity of the prosecution in tandem with the media and coordination thereof, there is a great stink of an awfully dark thing going on the SDPD. I'm speculating that there are cops and allied professionals who know who killed Danielle and it wasn't Westerfield.

The only thing that is almost certain is that this "science" has been proven to be very subjective and very easily "skewed" by certain variables. Much ado about nothing.
