Congrats, Lynn--I think! LOL....anyhow, I admire someone with strong math skills....I had a really bad experience with a psudo math teacher in the 8th grade and never recovered. Had been on the honor roll prior to that class...but a near failing grade keeps you away.

Funny, considering bookkeeping has been a large part of my professional life!

Sweet and Servant.....there was a fire Sunday in two barns at Woodbine Racetrack in Canada. Those two barns housed 126 thoroughbreds. They lost 32, with one trainer losing his whole stable of 14 horses--two of which, I believe, were stakes winners or stakes placed. The other 18 horses were scattered with 3 other trainers. There are also 50 of the remainder who were injured in some way. One groom is credited with saving at least 50 horses himself...they were turning horses loose as well as putting them in other stables....they found horses running on the highway in all the confusion....lots of confusion over the numbers...initially they thought there were just 6 killed.

Ratty and Servant---Tobey Maguire, Spider Man, has been chosen to play Red Pollard in the movie about Seabiscuit. He is also going to be executive producer, I believe. Sources are saying that Chris McCarron (just retired jockey--leading money winner) and Gary Stevens (just injured knees again and had surgery) are being looked at to play the role of the Iceman, George Wolff.

I'm po'd at FNN for hiring the Whore and Greta, too. I'm po'd at MSNBC for PMSing and dredging up the likes of Dona who?

CNN is a dead has been and i wasn't about to support Foot in Mouth Turner or Hanoi Jane....so who is left? I sure as hell won't pay money to get the likes of Peter -can't be bothered to become a citizen-Jennings, Tom Brokenjaw, or Dan Blather!

Its better that I read my news.....without it being filtered or mis-stated by them or the liberal rags that abound. :)
