Prosecutor Jeff Dusek pauses at the end of his closing argument, Tuesday, Aug. 6. 2002, in a courtroom in San Diego, during the trial of David Westerfield. Westerfield, the man accused of killing 7-year-old Danielle van Dam, may have lurked for an hour or more in the sleeping girl's bedroom before abducting her, Dusek said Tuesday during closing arguments in the suspect's murder trial.
