Thanks for recognizing all of us as working women.

We went exploring about an hour from our new home today. Trying to figure out where things are and what we have gotten ourselves into! However, I can't help but think about the fact that today is the last day of the county fair we always went to back in WA this time of year. In fact, we've been there every year for the last 13 years - but not this time.....sniff. I think homesickness is starting to sink in and we've only been here 4 weeks.

Speaking of Labor Day, did anyone see Jerry Lewis on the telethon? My family MADE me look at him, because they couldn't believe how bad he looks. Seems like it was only a few years ago when he'd had a heart scare, that he was talking about spending an hour or more on the treadmill each day - now he looks like an absolute blimp. I'm wondering whether it's because of some medical problem (for instance, is he having to take steroids?), or what. I felt sorry for him.
