We need your rain so badly. My grass is brown and crunchy. We have been on water restriction all summer. I just checked the doppler and there is moisture over Lake Michigan and I hope it lands here.

And now I must depart. I have the Polish Labor Day Parade, the Peach Festival Parade, and then a Carpenter's Union Picnic.

Ours looked like that a couple of weeks ago after we got back from vacation. There had been no rain and the temps had been in the high 90's, and this is MA! We had been in FL for two weeks and the temps there were cooler at the beach! In the last week we've had a couple a days of really good soaking rains, so the yard is greening up a bit. Now I have to MOW it!
