Yes, I do remember that incident. And don't forget the time in London when x42 (and maybe hitlery was with him) not only didn't leave a tip, but he walked out without paying! There was a big dust-up over that one too. They're so used to grifting their way through life that they forget maybe sometimes people want to get paid.
And a dark one too. Got [chocolate] milk?
The Cumberland Dam at Wolfe Creek
Tuesday morning my bil and a friend went down to the Cumberland River for some fishing and sightseeing - the early morning fog was spectacular as we drifted down the river seeing deer, raccoon, a blue heron, and some butt-ugly turkey vultures perched in the limbs of a dead tree.
The water was so clear we could see the fish swimming around our lures to approximately 10 feet deep. This was the first time I've been on the river and I truly hope that it will not be the last. If anyone has the chance to visit Lake Cumberland - grab it. You will not be disappointed.
Lake Cumberland IS drop-dead gorgeous, but I would not wish to winter there. ;-)
There is a word here for people who fear subzero weather!!! ;~)
First I see this at Drudge...
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is turning back the clock as she turns heads with a new Early America fashion makeover.
It's back to basics and back to the foundations of the nation for the former first lady.
Her hair has been pulled back in the spirit of Susan B. Anthony, her wardrobe has been reworked in Washington classical.
Dubbed "coin" style, or the "Hillary nickel" look by Capitol Hill staffers, the post-colonial, pre-suffrage fashion debuted during a D.C. rally for labor workers.

Then I come across this nugget.....
Returning to its 18th century home to mark a 21st century tragedy, Congress makes an extraordinary journey to New York on September 6, 2002 to commemorate the Sept. 11 attacks. Leaving Washington for only the second time in more than 200 years, lawmakers will convene in New York's Federal Hall in lower Manhattan, only a few blocks from the site of the World Trade Center attacks where about 3,000 people died. The western edge of the World Trade Center site is seen on June 4. (Peter Morgan/Reuters)

Martha Stewart made a secret phone call from Mexico to then-ImClone boss Sam Waksal - just days after she sold her shares in his troubled company, congressional investigators believe. Records of a rented cell phone used by Stewart show a five-minute call to Waksal on Dec. 31 - a conversation Waksal said never happened, the investigators said yesterday. "We believe someone has lied to the committee and possibly conspired to obstruct a congressional investigation," said Ken Johnson, spokesman for House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Billy Tauzin (R-La.). full story.
