Good Morning everybody!!
everyone check out my thread I posted last night about my rememberances of last year. My title for it is "A Day I'll Never Forget". I would have pinged you all to it but it was late by the time I finished writing it and only had a chance to ping a few people to it.
It's long but a good read.

How tragic to think of all the lives that would have been saved WORLDWIDE if we'd had a real President for the previous eight years.
We pray for the safety of President Bush and his administration.

What a horrific thought. I wonder if there is anyway we could put together a 'body count'.

A musical about the events of 11 September is to receive its première on Wednesday - the first anniversary of the attacks. The Metropol Theatre in Vienna, Austria is to show the musical, written by Moscow-born Sergei Dreznin who was in New York on the day the World Trade Center was destroyed. Vienna-New York Retour tells the story of Suzanne, a struggling young singer who lands a dream role on Broadway on the eve of the attack. full story.
Sounds like "42nd Street" meets bin Laden.

George Stephanopoulos missed an Essex House event that honored his network, ABC, on Monday. But the anchor of "This Week" had one beautiful alibi - his new daughter, Elliott Anastasia Stephanopoulos, who arrived at 7:02 a.m. The former Clinton aide was at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington coaching his wife, Alexandra Wentworth, in the delivery room. Elliott - which was the maiden name of Wentworth's great-grandmother - arrived about two weeks early. An ABC rep says the parents attribute that to their spicy Mexican dinner Sunday night. NY Daily News Elliott is such a lovely name for a little girl.

I guess Elliott should be glad her mom's great-grandmother's maiden name wasn't McGruff or Finkelstein. And in other news:
The litigious Larry Klayman, president of the conservative group Judicial Watch, called us yesterday in great excitement to report that rats, hundreds of 'em, had swarmed into the nonprofit's School Street SW headquarters over the weekend after fleeing a construction site allegedly owned by the Democratic National Committee.
"Apparently the demolition work next door dislodged some rat colonies, and they invaded our fifth-floor offices. They defecated on people's desks and gnawed on telephone and computer cables. We've been invaded by packs of rats from the DNC."
The only problem with Klayman's theory is that the Democratic Party doesn't have anything to do with the site, DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe told us yesterday. Whatever construction is planned, McAuliffe said, will occur at the DNC headquarters building several blocks away. Klayman's response: "Maybe these were rats sympathetic to the Democrats and acted because they were upset that the Democrats weren't coming." WashPost
Larry was the libs' darling as long as he was suing Cheney and bashing Bush, but he's back to being "litigious" and a conservative.

A tremendous Tuesday to all.
The very best of luck to those involved with elections today.

Good Morning, JL. I see on the News & Activism page that there is confusion at the polls this morning in FL. Wouldn't it be interesting if the Rats do some dirty tricks to their own today? It is such fun to sit and watch these P!$$ing Matches when you don't really have a dog in the fight.
Wondering if Janet will trade her pickup in. . . .

Remember a few weeks ago when gossip columns reported Chels was overheard complaining about having put on weight and still having no bosom? Looks like she invested in a Wonderbra or a box of Kleenex. Check out the latest
photos at Rex Features, taken at the U.S. Open.
To: mountaineer
I would think a Wonder Bra couldn't do much for you, if you actually didn't have anything to work with in the first place.
I'm thinking silicon. This would explain her absence from the public view for a few weeks, which we discussed on this thread a few weeks back. I don't know what the recovery time is for surgery of this type, but I would think 2 wks would do it.
Perhaps they got a "Deal". . . . Botox & Silicon.
To: mountaineer
Can anyone explain this one?

Will the dims remember they have two time zones?
Will the rhino take another header into the floor?
Are the new voting machines pre-configured?
It should be an interesting day at the polls. ;-)

The Hildebeaste and Bracelet Boy both appear stoned. Guess they got some good stuff at Martha's Vineyard.
