This is crazy. I have lost all respect for the administrators (but not the posters who are more vital) of this site. I am actually a bit of a Bush-bot myself, mostly because I think he is a decent guy and fundamentally not one of these one world marxists, but things are really regressing around here if someone can't voice the opinions which are attributed to Mr Sidious.

Well, I myself would not vote for a democrat, I'd probably just not vote if the Republican candidate is "McCain-esque."
I am not sure if I understand how the mere act of participating in an online discussion about certain candidates and elected officials committment to constitutional ideals will effect the outcome of actual elections.
I have been highly critical of Bush in certain regards, but that doesn't mean I won't vote for him. At the very least, there is some value to letting the politicians, who work for you, know you aren't happy with their representation. The more "bought and paid for" we come off, the more irrelevent we become because we are...well...bought and paid for.

...but things are really regressing around here if someone can't voice the opinions which are attributed to Mr Sidious.Sorry, can't agree with you on this one. Jim has always been up front about the fact that this website is dedicated to conservative thought and return to conservative government. If someone tells Jim they are going to vote for a confirmed crook/liberal/clintonista over a republican opponent then I'd say they got what they deserved. Liddy might not be conservative but she's certainly not a demonrat and her seat could be the difference between a republican senate or demonrat senate.

Darth Sidious
Damn shame that you got banned. can't really see why.

When I first registered to vote(all those long years ago), it was as a Democrat. Not sure why, just seemed like the "hipper" fo the two parties. Wisdom comes with time, I guess.
I understand that a certain VERY prominent FReeper was a registered Democrat all of his life, even after the advent of FreeRepublic. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

"Perhaps another opus is necessary to explain why perceived "residency" is the overwhelming reason to vote for a candidate."
We in the south have a well documented distaste for Carpetbaggers.

"I agree, nothing could ever convince me to vote democrat,..." Yes, I know the feeling! Last Presidential Election I was a "Broken Glass" Republican.
After the FloriDUH debacle I am now and forever more a "Broken Glass" Anti-Democrat.
(Translation: I will crawl over broken glass to vote against any democrat in my voting district!)
