I agree. That is kinda gross.

I know the tune Who Wear's Short Shorts. I grew up exposed to nothing but 1930's jazz and 1950's music. My mom used to sing this song quite a bit. Rock and roll was rarely heard of in my household.

So that would make you born in the year of the Rabbit (1963)

Hello there. I don't think we've had the pleasure of meeting. "Who wears Short Shorts" was the summer of '62, I think. We've already determined that Mud was still in the womb at that time. No wonder the poor child hadn't heard of that song.

"...the year of the Rabbit (1963)" That would explain the orange VW my parents allowed me to borrow fer dates while in high school, before I ponied up the money to get my own ride, TheBrownMule...LOL!!
Hope yer having a wonderful holiday, my FRiend...MUD

"Mud was still in the womb at that time" Actually, more of '63 was spent outta the womb than in it, Granny...and we've already determined that I have indeed "heard of that song"!!

My song, entitled, "The Little Old Lady from Southeast Iowa", is not quite complete. I am a perfectionist, you know, and it is not quite ready for public viewing.
Nothing but the best, for my FRiends.

Good Morning, Crew! Very busy day here today. Hubby is holding an open house for his seed customers. I already have a pie in the oven,, another one will go in as soon as the one currently baking is done. Also have chilli to prepare. I'm getting ready for 30,,, and will do a similar amount tomorrow.
I'm off to check the news.

Pleasure to meet you. I was born three years later after Mudboy. But I'm hip to much of the classic music prior to 1940. I liked Frankie Avalon's "Roses Are Red". I watched the classic, "The Sound of Music" last night and it just made me feel all warm inside again. Not for romance novels at all but this movie really got to me. When it comes to romance I'm truly old fashioned. Maybe I'm even outdated in my time but I don't care one bit.

Silly wabbit! Here's to another year just around the corner. : )
