US Apache helicopters battled with the Iraqi Second Armored Brigade of the Medina Division. AA fire brought down at least one helicopter; Iraq claimed two craft were brought down.

Saddam addressed the people of Iraq and promised victory soon while discussing many of the recent battles.

Syria claims a US missile hit a bus near the Iraq/Syria border, killing five.

US forces are engaging the enemy at the Karbala Gap.

Fighting continues at An Nasariyah.

Among targets struck in Baghdad, coalition aircraft struck a building belonging to the Iraqi Air Force.

Air raid sirens sounded in the city of An Mawsil yesterday.

Two British soldiers are missing after a skirmish in southern Iraq.

US officials still have not determined what was in the plant they secured at the city of Najaf - about 90 miles south of Baghdad - though they do believe the center was part of the process of producing chemical weapons in Iraq.

US Marines secured a regional headquarters of the Ba'ath Party in Umm Qasr yesterday. In the building were stacks of American leaflets the Marines believed Ba'ath Party members rounded up so they wouldn't be seen by the population.

Remember to not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Seems as though I am getting sleep deprived. I have been reading, watching and praying for the families that have lost loved ones. War is war and I think we need to STOP BEING SO DAMN NICE!!!! No matter what we do the press is going to make it sound as though we are the aggressors so I say let's show them what we can do!

I can't help but think of W. He will feel each and every sacrifice personally. Having a son in the Navy (safe at this point in school)I have to smile when he tells me the guys down there are calling it "Urban Renewal".

Good morning! I was going to post that link, but you beat me to it. I am dedicated to posting it about every 200 threads on the live thread today, because the Chicken Littles are coming out of the woodwork.

CNN is rapidly becoming the Tokyo Rose of this war. ABC is running a close second. People who get their information primarily from these sources are getting a negative impression. (Yet another reason why I am glad to have Fox News.) Also, a lot of younger people have the idea that wars go really quickly, due to video games and movies giving that impressioin.

Anyway, Peters explains the strategy and what to expect quite well, and I recommend all read that article.

Mark the footage of the Apache the media is showing is a LongBow the newest Apache.

Look at those pictures closely....no damage visible....canopy is shut and an expert on Fox said it's like the crew locked it and took off ..

I won't even put it on CNN or ABC. But last night, Greta went back to her CNN roots and whined that we're losing the war, blah, blah, blah. Both of the military experts, and the Possum slapped her down, and they really nailed her when she suggested that Fox should show the video of the POW's.

You are SO right about CNN. When I do watch them my medication bill goes up, extra blood pressure pills. And today, we start hearing the 'cry babies' (democraps) cause W is going to submit budget for war. Oh to think, the 'gimmie' programs are going to take a hit. The shame of it all.
