Anyone who feels called to be a prayer warrior - understanding that the forces we face are more than just then Saddam's thugs - please sign in.

For those who do not agree with this effort - or who deny the ongoing spiritual warfare involved in what we are doing - that's fine. God bless you.

By the way - we don't have to do all the praying in public - we should not even do so. But we can unite on a locale, a strategic prayer objective, and then go to the prayer closet! We should keep praying for the strategic objective until that objective has been "clearly achieved".

Presidential Pride sunk in yacht attack

March 29, 2003

IN a huge blow to Saddam Hussein's pride, his vast presidential yacht is believed to have been sunk in a coalition air strike.

Typically, his yacht - the luxurious Al Mansur - was the largest ship in the Iraqi navy, despite having no military value whatsoever.

But following an attack by allied bombers on the port of Basra, Saddam's floating pride and joy is now understood to be partially submerged.

Also destroyed in the attack were virtually the entire remnants of the Iraq navy, with two large patrol boats and a supply ship left shattered on the bed of the Shatt Al Arab river.

With at least one other Iraqi patrol boat already sunk in the Persian Gulf, and six patrol boats under allied control at the port of Umm Qasr, Saddam now has no effective maritime force.....

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into Hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Heading for the prayer closet...

Here is another targeted prayer.

As we speak, Islamic forces all over the Middle East are cheering Jihad and pledging to confront the Allies with terrorism, or even direct military action. Syria, Iran, and to some extent Egypt are foaming with belligerent forces itching to enlarge this conflict and hand us defeat.

Our Israeli allies are facing these threats as well as our coalition Allies.

Its time to pray harder than before, and in earnest, that this conflict doesnt spread. If it is God's will for it to spread, then lets pray that the enemy earns his judgement at the hand of the Lord in a decisive manner.

I have no patience with Islamists today, and I apologize if my sentiments sound non Christian.

I pray for our troops that God will give them the victory in Basra and the other cities. I pray for our enemies that even now God has the power to touch their hearts, allow them to see the lies not only of their leaders but of their religion, to change them as only He can, and that they would lay down their weapons. In Christ's Holy Name

Hopefully this is just 'over-reacting' on my part. (or something else)

Is anyone sensing an 'urge' to step up the prayers?

I'm 'getting' such a feeling in my spirit of restlessness/expecting something 'bad' to happen.

BTW... along with the prayers, I've been 'reminded' that God inhabits our praises. Sooooo, Praise Him.
