These skirts are the latest fad in Japan. Let's hope that they don't catch on here.

That just cracks me up.

With all of this talk of impending war, many of us will encounter "Peace
Activists" who will try and convince us that we must refrain from
retaliating against the ones who terrorized us all on September 11,
2001, and those who support terror.

These activists may be alone or in a gathering.....most of us don't know
how to react to them. When you come upon one of these people, or one of
their rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette:

1. Listen politely while this person explains their views. Strike up a
conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideas.

They will tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the
people who did this to us, we will only bring on more violence. They
will probably use many arguments, ranging from political to religious to
humanitarian.

2. In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in
the nose.

3. When the person gets up off of the ground, they will be very angry
and they may try to hit you, so be careful.

4. Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings
about more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter.

Tell them if they are really committed to a nonviolent approach to
undeserved attacks, they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a
solution.

Tell them they must lead by example if they really believe what they are
saying.

5. Most of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are
correct.

6. As soon as they do that, hit them again. Only this time hit them much
harder. Square in the nose.

7. Repeat steps 2-5 until the desired results are obtained and the idiot
realizes how stupid of an argument he/she is making.

8. There is no difference in an individual attacking an unsuspecting
victim or a group of terrorists attacking a nation of people.

It is unacceptable and must be dealt with. Perhaps at a high cost.

We owe our military a huge debt for what they are about to do for us and
our children. We must support them and our leaders at times like these.

We have no choice. We either strike back, VERY HARD, or we will keep
getting hit in the nose.

Yes, I've seen these. I believe the panty pictures are airbrushed on to the skirt or something. Nice. Especially the "Indian" underwear (the ones that creep up on you).

AMEN! All we'd see is a bunch of fat fannies hanging out of their bikini underwear. I don't know why women can't understand that even though some fashion is out there, they don't have the figure to WEAR it!

I saw a group of 'women' in the Venetian Hotel & Casino wearing these skirts this weekend. Quite frankly, I don't think there was any air brushing of fake panties.

Also of note from a weekend on the road: Blue jeans, worn unzipped and the front of the jeans folded back sort of like a collar is seen being worn occassionally by those who are 'plying their wares'.

It's great to be back home in the Heartland, where none of this has caught on yet.

I just now received it - it's making its way around the web.

Cheers.

I'm counting on stripped, unzipped, and ripped when in IA soon.

Cheers, and glad you are safely home.

Gratefully, that stuff isn't being worn here.

Are you coming to Iowa to drill beans? Let me know when you will be visiting our fair state.

They really do have some odd trends and fads in Japan, I must say. We had a philosophy professor - our neighbor - over for cake and coffee tonight, and he mentioned that Japan is the most racist (by our definition) nation in the world. No diversity there, by golly, except perhaps for styles of underwear.

Cheers, CC :)

This is terrible. Imagine what the older generations in Japan must think. Traditionally, Japanese women were always modest. Also, the traditional kimonos were and are so beautiful......these girls would be so much more attractive in them!

I pray that this does not catch on here. Most American women are not quite this petite and it would be a national disaster!

A quick note regarding The Sinkmeister's visit to the University of Iowa in Iowa City last week. The day after, it was reported his $50,000 fee would be donated to charity. Which charity? After a good deal of digging, it has been determined he is donating his fee to the Clinton Library. This fact was reported in the DM Register.

I know the fella who's byline appeared with the story. He's a lib from the word go,,,,, so you can imagine how difficult it was for him to report this scheme. I'm not sure the story was ever available on the Register's web page (imagine that!!). I searched and searched for it, thinking I should at least provide the URL so some of you could get it up for review. Unfortunately, they were able to keep that under wraps.

Okay, that's just too, too stupid. I sure hope the see-through skirts and the - what do we call them? - around-the-neck-fake-bosoms don't catch on anywhere!

Something else we hope doesn't become a fad:

OBSCENITY charges have been dropped in a Louisiana court against Stephen "Steve-O" Glover of MTV's "Jackass" fame. In July, Glover was charged with exposing himself while stapling his scrotum to his thigh. Prosecutors conceded that the act could be a "form of artistic expression protected under the First Amendment." Page Six

The Founding Fathers whirl in their graves over the notion that the First Amendment protects that sort of behavior.

I think the Clinton Library and the Clinton Foundation exist only to accept tax-exempt contributions to x42's personal piggy bank. In other words, they are something akin to a money laundering scheme. What are the chances?
