Evening folks.
There's a line by a character in a very popular movie of the last generation:
"In my experience, there's no such thing as luck...." And as a mote of dust adrift upon The Sea of Singular Uncertainty, certain things one just awaits with baited breath to be shown the way. How else would your eternal correspondent come up with these little vignettes that I hope tickle your fancies every other day? My friends, this is a linear, improvisational thing that we have created together. The thing that I love the most about this, this thing, it's like jazz, free unbound music, not to mention this clubhouse that we meet in, and especially the genre of music that I have chosen to play, as well as the real-time excitement that I get from several creative brains, is its inherent, linear improvisation. I also love the run-on sentence, as you can no doubt tell. Maybe I like to think of this conversation as a neverending solo by a Band of Many. Whatever that means....
Lady Horsie feels that I should find a good-old-fashioned speed-metal band to play in, if for no other reason than to play something different. I don't think she understands the way I think. As for me, however....I like what I'm doing, and I get along with the people I do it with: becuase like it or not....I play good with these guys. I know their mind and they know mine. And we dance. I know none of yousse understands this. I put it to you, that no-one should ever eff with chemistry. Jusst keep swingin' that club.... that's a good thing.....but I digress.
