over two years ago we were so behind on the nearly paid-mortgage on our home that it was strange and miraculous that we hadn't been foreclosed.
We began to give to a well-known tv ministry, praying over the checks that God would return our gifts one-hundred fold. God kept His end of it for we kept our house, and now except for that mortgage we are debt-free. [$350,000 in debts] thanx to Jesus.
We tithe now, to a different ministry, and my testimony is God HAS to take a tither, out of His love.
Whoa. That's a great example of God's providence! I've been getting away from tithing for a number of weeks now. I'll tithe to my church this Sunday, and trust Him to make something happen. I can at least avoid eviction for one month, and with God's assistance, who knows?
