Joe Scarborough was just on IMUS. He's good. I believe he said, "the trouble with Chris Matthews is that he's stuck in the Vietnam War era". This from a guy who has a show on the same network.

Joe doesn't seem to be playing by the same rules as all the other pundits. Maybe that will be his key to success. He kind of reminds me of a Laura Ingraham.

Yesterday Scott Ritter was a guest on Sean Hannity's radio show. It got ugly at the end of the interview. See this thread for details.

Scott Ritter slammed by Hannity (threatens to sue!!!)

One of the hot stories for today seems to be.

Another U.S. Soldier Killed in More Iraq Violence
Thursday, May 29, 2003

BAGHDAD, Iraq — A U.S. soldier was killed by hostile fire Thursday while traveling on a main supply route in Iraq, a military statement said.

The brief statement released by the U.S. Central Command (search) said the soldier was evacuated to 21st Combat Support Hospital (search) where he was pronounced dead.

It gave no further details or the soldier's name.

The announcement comes after a sharp escalation in clashes between Iraqis and U.S. troops in recent days.

The latest death brings to nine the number of American soldiers who have died around the country this week. Nearly two dozen others have been wounded.

IMUS had on Jim Miklaszewski trying to prod him into saying this is all Rumsfeld's fault. I don't know why IMUS has it in for Rumsfeld, but is obvious that he does.

This is bad. Bernard McGuirk agreeing with Paul Begala on the issue of IRAQ.

Begala's talking points for today "Where's the WMDs we sacrificed 170 of our soldiers for".

Howard Kurtz from the Washington Compost was on briefly discussing the story.

New York Times Reporter Bragg Resigns

He compared the situation at the NY Times to the problems in IRAQ.

Joe Scarborough has a great show. It annoys me no end to hear his show being touted by Matthews. From what I read yesterday, the ratings for Matthews are even lower than before and that goes for Paula Zahn's show too. She's going to get a show guru to help her out cause she's lower than Connie Chung was......and of course, Odious Olbermann's ratings are in the cellar too!

Bernard was against the war from the beginning....always demanding to know why we were fighting Israel's war.

IMUS's wife just called in to his radio show outraged at Begala's comment that our soldiers died in vain in IRAQ.

Way to go Dierdre!

And still, Bernie defends Begala!

The Forehead made some outrageous statements on Imus. Unfortunately, Imus didn't challenge him on any of them.

And what is with this book by Danny Goldberg that Imus is continually flogging????

IMUS did mumble "I hope you don't mind if I eat my muffin while you are rambling on."

I believe this Danny Goldberg will be on tomorrow discussing his new book on how the RATs are becoming neorepublicans.
