AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 867) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | June 6, 2003 | All of Us

Posted on 06/06/2003 4:38:41 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments on September 8 regarding the Free Speech Limitation Act (sometimes also known as Campaign Finance Reform). This is actually four weeks before the Court is supposed to start its fall term, so it is very unusual. Indeed, the Court has asked nearly 80 parties to file briefs over the summer.

The New York Times has named former executive editor Joseph Lelyveld as the interim executive editor.

AG Ashcroft was on the Hill testifying about the possibility of expanding the Patriot Act. The AG has asked Congress to allow prosecutors the ability to bring charges against anyone who works with or materially supports suspected terrorist groups. Mr. Ashcroft is also seeking changes to the legislation that would authorize the death penalty for any terrorist act.

And 97 continues the lie that is her book - in an interview with Baba Wawa, she tells of being lied to by UOx42 about Monica. Of course, she didn't mention Kendell telling her about the President's dalliances two days earlier.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good morning Chair, kassie, lysie, everyone!

Chair, have you figured out how the resignation of that person you work with will affect you?

lysie, Happy Birthday to Sarah!

Actually, he is our Chief Information Officer. He was quite powerful in the Department, and now that he is leaving, a power vacuum has been created. I'm not quite sure how it's going to play out. The summer is going to be interesting.

Summer is when you prepare the new budget isn't it??

I couldn't remember the exact title you'd used.:-)

lysie, I've been gargling and gargling, and feeling better, so far.

Glad Sarah enjoyed her day! Is she going to school this summer?

Good morning!

Spent the last two days helping out with the twins so their Mom could go to the doc and run some errands. Whew! It's definitely challenging to feed two babies at the same time.

Good Morning. It's piddling rain here this morning. Just a slow, gentle rain. The moisture is a welcome drink for the crops. No complaints here.

lysie: A late Happy Birthday to Sarah! You didn't tell us how old Sarah is,,, I noticed you mentioned she's a lurker.

Yes, it is. I wish all this could have waited until the fall.

Oh well.

I can only imagine the frantic feeding pace with two tiny mouths to fill at the same time. I have 2 little "almost" 3 y.o. They aren't twins,, but cousins. Their birthdays are 7 days apart.

Hint: If you think keeping them fed is a challenge, wait until they're almost 3 and sit at your kitchen table with the play dough. You need to purchase another rolling pin. Possession of the rolling pin is very important when using the play dough. And keeping the play dough smoothed out is a full time job.

Great links, Molly. Thanks.

To tell the truth, I've got a secret for the liberal press who can't put a finger on President Bush's makeup.

The real GWB has stood up. You are to blind to see it.

Yes......It's FUN....AND, I get to go home to peace and quiet afterwards!
:)

Thanks for the advice, IG. I need as much as I can get! I will need three rolling pins. Maggie and the twins are five months apart. Ha!

My daughter's 2 youngest daughters are 16 months apart. What one doesn't think of the other one does. They are 2 and 3.
