Went to the Neil Young concert tonight in Tampa.
TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS:
Went to the Neil Young concert tonight in Tampa. I expected to hear his recent songs off "Mystery Train", his latest cd. Instead, he started performing some yet unreleased music that included enactments and video snippets along with the performances. It was entertaining until he started flashing political messages. One had a picture of a Clear Channel billboard that stated "Support Our War". Later, in reference to verses in a song that said for people to let us handle things, the video depicted several members of the Bush administration. It was bad enough to sit through music I haven't heard before enmasse, but to be subjected to this propoganda that had no relation to the story he was telling was too much. I left after the fourth song.

Is he with Crazy Horse?
To: GATOR NAVY
Yes, he was, but you wouldn't have known that, at least at the beginning. How the show progressed, I'll never know.

He's a drug-abusing Canadian who hates the South. 'Nuff said.
