I've heard nothing bad about the P32 for reliability. Of course everybody whines about the caliber and that's why Keltec came out with the P3AT (read p380) and it's only 1/10 of an inch wider.

They make Kneck hanging holsters that you might like for when your jogging. Instead of fumbling in a fanny pack all you do is reach under your shirt and grab it and pull it down to remove it. It's like a whistle on a necklace basically. There is always the holster bra

I'd hate to mess with someone like her.

4The first ones off the production line had a tendency to jam

kAcknor Sez:

I read the same thing and always figured it to be a new-gun/production problem. Thanks for the info.

I own and regularly fire a Taurus model 66 with a 6" barrel (old style, 6 shot, compensated) and it has never failed to fire when I pull the trigger.

Thanks to all posting here. I will be first in line to get mine when Ohio joins the real world and pass a CCL. It's as close now as it's ever been, but... We have a strong contingent of pro forces that seem to push for the "perfect bill" and fail to see that ANY bill is good as long as it will get the public and police seeing no problems with people carrying. It's a lot easier to make changes to a law that is working than it is to pass the law.

Oh well, I rant. ;)

Have you checked the *bang_list today?

Nice holster. I'll have to show the wife that one.

A Sigarms Mod 232, .380 ACP, carried in a Bianchi Model 6D ATB Waistband holster worn sorta between the right hip and the small of the back works for me ... comfortable even when driving.

It's a soft leather briefcase made about 25 years ago by Fobus. Very understated and very well made. You'd probably have to have one custom made these days, especially the kevlar panel bit.

Any good saddle make could put one together, but I wouldn't even guess at cost. I paid $150 for mine back then. It came in handy one dark and lonely night in the San Francisco financial district. The Browning Hi Power that I pulled out of it on that occasion served to persuade a couple of individuals to pursue another course of action. No shots fired, thank heavens. The distinctive clack of the hammer going back was all it took. It was the last thing they expected. If they had taken another step forward, it would have been the last thing they would have ever seen.

I have opted for a 410 shotgun, five rounds of buckshot, barrel reduced to only 3 inches. This tiny little horror has awesome firepower and straps neatly under my Brooks Brothers suit for evening wear or even dress casual apparel.

Dang, dude, this sounds serious... The perp will drop dead from a heart attack...

If you want to go reall small, there is a 5 shot 22 mag revolver that will fit in the palm of your hand and can easily be hidden in your pocket. North American Arms? (can't remember)

Unless you're planning to use the muzzle blast as a weapon, why use .22mag in such a short barrel? Even a .22lr will waste a lot of powder; in fact, some short-barreled .22lr pistols will actually achieve higher muzzle velocities if loaded with .22short.

"Jeff Copper wrote that you should never carry anything smaller than a .45 for self defense."

As a general rule, I completely agree with Mr. Cooper. However, in this politically correct age, you have to be careful around work. If one of your superiors happens to be a gun control freak, he can arrange for you to have a very short future with your company without resorting to niceties like due process.

Remember the first rule in gunfighting? Have a gun. A big gun is better than a small gun and any gun is better than no gun.

Heck, Even an L-shaped piece of black cardboard is better than nothing! ;-)

If you wear a polo shirt then I think there are only 2 realistic business casual options - the ankle holster and the wallet holster (a front pocket holster is too obvious when wearing slacks -- the weight will pull down too much.) Here are some pictures:

However, I don't think they are too comfortable to sit on. They obviously don't bend and conform to your butt like a regular wallet will. Note that in both cases the pictures show someone in jeans, which are a thicker and tougher material, but I think this would be fine for nice dockers.

I like the full holster pocket option. That, and a portfolio type case are my two primary options so far. A holster for when a portfolio is not carried.

The revolvers jammed?

The Keltec P32 is a semi-auto.
